The various packages are similar, some aimed at DJs and party organisers and other for bands. This page outlines the main packages but there are almost limitless variations.
The power of these systems comes from a 400-450w per channel power amp, powering 2 Peavey Hi-SysII (1x15' plus horn) speakers. This is enough for most party needs (even if you've hired a large function room for 150 people). Likewise bands you can put just vocals, vocals and kick drum or a whole band mix through this - enough for any pub gig and more.
For DJs, the heart of the package is the versatile Behringer VMX100usb DJ mixer and Numark CDN22 MkIII twin CD player with pitch control, jog shuttle etc. A mic and headphones are also included.
For bands there's either a Soundcraft Spririt Folio mini mixer or a Yamaha MG16 mixing desk (instead of DJ mixer and CD player). Included are enough mics to fill each mixer (depending on package).
