PA systems for band of all types and levels, to suit all budgets.
Small PA system packages from just £49.00, stage and dance floor lighting, full band rigs with 4kw FOH and monitor wedges, mixing desks – analogue or digital, microhones, radio mics, IEMs.
There’s also a local band PA for just £30.00. (Please note this deal is for collect from ME3 postcode – no delivery or set up.)
Packages include a basic set up (positioned, cabled and shown fully working). More thorough set-ups including engineered sound-checks also available.
Well I guess that includes almost all bands. This section is really for live playing rather than functions – where you’re paid next to nothing but want to get out and play. I’ve created a number of packages to suit small bands, duos and solo performers. A main PA system, monitor wedge and enough mics to do the job – all with a light and of course all the cables and stands included.
For those on a really, really tight budget see next section – local band £30 PA deal.
It can be hard to get started playing gigs, getting the gig is hard enough but then how do you afford a PA system. Well, if you don’t mind collecting (from ME3 postcode) and lugging my old skool PA about, then for £30 you can have a powerful PA system, a 4 channel mixer some mics for vocals and kick all leads and stands to help you get started.
Something I introduced a year or so ago as a way of offering my services as sound engineer without charging full sound engineer fee. Hire the PA of your choice and for about an extra £30 I’ll hang around for an extra half hour or so and sound check the band. Given that most of the sound engineers’ job is set up and sound check this is quite a good deal.
If your fee justifies it then why not go with a fully engineered PA hire. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small or large PA sometimes you just want to concentrate on playing.
For smaller live acts the cabaret package gives you a live sound engineer, 2 FOH speakers and max 2 monitor wedges either EV or QSC options. I’ll bring a digital console and mix on iPad. Max 4 input channels and 4 output with mics and DIs up to this total.
Live band package; Live sound engineer, QSC K12 FOH with a single sub-woofer, up to 3 monitors, digital console with iPad mixing. Basic drum mics, 4 vocal mics including 1 radio. Max 16 inputs 5 outputs.
Sound engineer with K12 and 2 sub-woofer FOH, up to 5 monitor wedges, 2 radio mics, top drum mic set, max 16 inputs and 7 outputs.
